Robert Fogel

Bob Fogel is the executive vice president and executive dean at Babson College. In addition to overseeing Babson College’s daily activities, Bob is also responsible for the College’s current international expansion strategies.

Bob previously served as the dean of administration at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he was credited with revitalizing all aspects of the school’s operations. Also, Bob spearheaded the market analysis and creation of a completely new practice-based Doctorate in Education Leadership, in conjunction with Harvard Business School. Bob also served as the president and CEO of Harvard Business School Interactive Inc. In his leadership position at HBS Executive Education, he managed a program that served more than 7,500 high-level executive participants annually. In addition, a 2-fold increase in revenue was achieved in the senior executive programs in China, South Africa, Singapore, and the Middle East.

Bob was also an education business consultant and had frequently conducted organizational and change management programs for the private and public sector. Other previous work experience included a managerial position at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting (Government High Tech Consulting Practice), being Coast Guard officer, being a ship’s captain in Miami, and being a member of the Vice Presidential Task Force on Narcotics Enforcement in South and Central America and the Caribbean.

Education achievements included B.S. in Government & Pre-law from the US Coast Guard Academy in 1983, and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1991.
